By installing HighShot, visiting highshot.app, or purchasing a Lifetime License, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the extension or website.
The service
HighShot provides tools to annotate web pages, blur sensitive regions, and capture screenshots in Chrome, plus a website for product information, support, licensing, and related content. Features may change as we improve the product. We may offer a free tier, a time-limited trial, and paid Lifetime License unlocks.
License to use HighShot
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the HighShot extension for lawful purposes, subject to these terms. A Lifetime License unlocks premium features on up to the stated number of activations (currently 3 Chrome profiles/devices per key) and remains valid for as long as we offer the product, unless revoked for breach or refunded under the Refund Policy.
License keys and access
You are responsible for keeping your license key confidential and for activity under keys you activate. Do not share, resell, or publicly post license keys. We may deactivate keys that are abused, fraudulently obtained, or refunded.
Acceptable use
You may not reverse engineer, redistribute, or resell the extension except as allowed by law; interfere with the service or others’ use; use HighShot to violate others’ rights, applicable law, or third-party site terms; or attempt to bypass license, trial, or payment controls. You are responsible for how you use markup and screenshots, including content you capture or share.
Payments
Paid purchases are processed by Dodo Payments. Prices and taxes are shown at checkout. Refunds, if any, follow our Refund Policy (7-day window for Lifetime License). Affiliate and promotional programs have their own rules when you join them.
Your content
Markup and screenshots you create generally stay on your device unless you choose to export, download, or share them. You retain rights to your own content. You grant us only the limited rights needed to operate features you use (for example processing a support request you send).
Our intellectual property
HighShot, including the extension, website, branding, and related materials, is owned by us or our licensors. These terms do not transfer ownership. You may not use our trademarks in a way that suggests endorsement without permission.
Disclaimer
HighShot is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that the extension will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every website. Use of markup, blur, and captures is at your own risk — especially when sharing sensitive information.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of HighShot. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for Lifetime License in the 12 months before the claim (or zero if you used only free features).
Suspension and termination
You may stop using HighShot at any time by uninstalling the extension. We may suspend or terminate access, or revoke a license, if you breach these terms or if required for security or legal reasons. Sections that by nature should survive (including IP, disclaimer, and limitation of liability) continue after termination.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. If you do not agree, stop using HighShot.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in our principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country require otherwise. Courts in that jurisdiction may hear disputes, subject to those protections.
